Please note that Misplaced Pages is not a link farm. If our readers would like more information about Jason Gastrich, we already have a link to his "Jesus Christ Saves Ministries" website. It isn't necessary to include multiple links. Thanks, -Willmcw 01:11, 17 November 2005 (UTC)

  • I'm glad you wrote here. I was just going to your Talk page to post, but this location will suffice.

First, there is no sense in writing "his" Jesus Christ Saves Ministries. JCSM is a 501(c)(3), non-profit organization. It has a Board of Directors, thousands of email subscribers, numerous supporters, thousands of daily visitors, etc. It's no more "his" than theirs. I have no idea why "his" was inserted, anyway. It's misleading and gives a false impression.

Next, everyone knows that Misplaced Pages isn't a link farm. However, JCSM has over 160,000 web pages and it's not easy to find all of them. A couple of the more notable things are the text and audio devotions (that's why they're mentioned in the entry). People have already commented in the deletion section about Mr. Gastrich's international reach and ministry and that is generally how they know about it.

I see no harm whatsoever in linking the text and audio devotions, so people can easily find them. Instead of reverting your reverts, I'll respectfully wait for your reply and input before this turns into a revert war; because there's no point in that. --Big Lover 04:59, 17 November 2005 (UTC)

Wikiquette

Jason, mate, Wikiquette! Apart from the sockpuppets, it is also rude to delete someone's messages. xx. Dunc| 21:55, 17 November 2005 (UTC)
