New entries proposal

  • 1866 - The Atlantic Cable is successfully completed, allowing transatlantic telegraph communication for the first time
  • 1956 - TAT-1 (Transatlantic No. 1), laid between Scotland and Newfoundland, was the first submarine transatlantic telephone cable system
