When prepared with a citric acid solution as described in its instructions for preparation, the mixture produces chlorine dioxide, The name was first coined by author, Jim Humble, in his 2006 self-published book, The Miracle Mineral Solution of the 21st Century. Jim Humble's career was engineer in many private, secret governmental military industrys during the 50s-80s, as well as gold mining undustry, he freely admits that he has had no 'offical' public training in any medical field, Since 2009, Jim Humble is the initiator of MMS & MMS2, he has echieved private medical trials for malaria and Cancer MMS is substance is being promoted as a treatment against HIV, malaria, hepatitis viruses, the H1N1 flu virus, common colds, acne, against cancer, and much more. The FDA "claim" there exists no reliable scientific evidence demonstrating the efficacy or safety of MMS; and claim most health benefit claims come from anecdotal reports and Jim Humble's book. Yet Jim Humble has done clinical trials for a large range of medical problems and deceases for the past ten years in Gauna. It has been recorded that he has medical reseach with genuine medical chemical experts and practitioners in an MMS trial on Malaria on 75.000 patients with a 98% sucess rate.
Stephen Barrett M.D. an expert in health fraud, advises to "Be skeptical of any product claimed to be effective against a wide range of unrelated diseases—particularly diseases that are serious. There is no such thing as a panacea or "cure-all." "
MMS is neither regulated nor supported by the FDA, and In the UK, the Food Standards Agency also released a warning, following the warnings from Health Canada and the U.S. Food and Drug Administration
