Railway station coordinates
Hello! There's a big backlog of articles about disused railway stations in Northern Ireland that need tagging with geographical coordinates, at User:The Anome/Disused and heritage UK railway stations still lacking coordinates. If anyone wants to fill these in, I'd be very grateful. There's more documentation at WP:COORD about how to do this, and the participants in that WikiProject are very helpful if you need more guidance. -- The Anome (talk) 15:21, 15 August 2012 (UTC)

Rose Report
As no articles have links to the "Rose Report" (was that the colonial one of 1850 or the 1969 Rose Report on Colour and Citizenship?), is it really of enough importance to be listed in the banner template under tasks: History:, as an article in the need of creation? Twice the article has been created and twice it has been deleted.
- 04:05, 6 July 2011 speedy delete of page Rose Report as A1: Not enough context to identify article's subject (CSDH)
- 23:55, 10 August 2011 delete of page Rose Report as part of the mass deletion of pages added by FameRuler991
The other Rose Reports, such as those dealing with education have more presence on Misplaced Pages and the web:
- 2006 – Independent review of the teaching of early reading (Rose Report 2006)
- 2007 – ROSE Report, The Relevance of Science Education in Ireland. Royal Irish Academy, Dublin (2007).
- 2009 – Rose, Sir Jim (2009-06-22). Identifying and Teaching Children and Young People with Dyslexia and Literacy Difficulties. Department for Children, Schools and Families.
Even "The Rose Report" segment on Mancow's Morning Madhouse has more presence on Misplaced Pages. Then there is the "Welch-Rose Report" of 1915 dealing with public health. If you folks are serious about a Rose report article, might I suggest (1) a temporary location as a sub-page of this project until a decent page could be whipped into shape and (2) some time spent in paper-based libraries to find accurate citations to reliable sources, since there don't seem to be any such web-based ones. Meanwhile, you could answer these questions: Who commissioned the report/ Who was the author? What year was it issued? Why is it important in the history of Northern Ireland? --Bejnar (talk) 18:29, 20 August 2012 (UTC)
Photos of murals not allowed on Commons
Seemingly, due to some ridiculous copyright rule, photos of murals arn't allowed on the Commons. The Commons has almost 300 photos of Northern Ireland's famous murals and they appear on many Misplaced Pages articles. I think it would be a real loss for Misplaced Pages if theze wer' to be deleted.
What can we do about this? ~Asarlaí 21:30, 3 September 2012 (UTC)
