Great edits! Out of curiosity, how'd you manage to find those old references? Very useful in other cases.
Thanks. --Activism1234 06:30, 29 August 2012 (UTC)
- Thanks. I use my favourite dmy format, if you don't mind:)) Cheers, Egeymi (talk) 06:32, 29 August 2012 (UTC)
- Np, it's easier for me to use MDY and then convert it all to DMY with a simple click of the button (used to MDY). But I'm still curious, if you can answer my original question, it'd be very helpful. Is there a specific database you used? --Activism1234 06:33, 29 August 2012 (UTC)
- Believe in me I use Google. I also set its news section, but now I use ordinary search. We may dig 2002 Kikambala bombings that is not included in WP. Activism, please feel free to correct my grammar errors, if you notice.Egeymi (talk) 06:38, 29 August 2012 (UTC)
- Long War Journal is very good source for the details about persons and attacks.Egeymi (talk) 16:03, 29 August 2012 (UTC)
- Ah Google is handy. Thanks. And will do, you write in English pretty well on Misplaced Pages. --Activism1234 06:40, 29 August 2012 (UTC)

- Please see my suggestion above regarding a source. Well, you began to make it a good article, and the others including Egeymi continued. Then thank you. A good teamwork. Cheers,Egeymi (talk) 16:18, 29 August 2012 (UTC)

Thanks for your work on some articles I've edited! It's really great. If you're not already using AutoWikiBrowser, I highly recommend it. Activism1234 19:55, 29 August 2012 (UTC) |
- Thanks Activism. Today I put my username on the request page after recognising it on your user page. But the real appreciation should be expressed for the article, Lee Zeitouni. I really feel sorry for her. In fact, I would like to say further, but I should stay calm. THANK YOU FOR THIS ARTICLE.Egeymi (talk) 20:04, 29 August 2012 (UTC)
- I appreciate that, I really do. Her story is heart-breaking and is important for others to know, which was my motivation for the article (plus her story can be found in reliable international media outlets). --Activism1234 20:07, 29 August 2012 (UTC)
Also, if you don't already have autopatroll rights, I'd suggest filling out a request. You have over 60 articles created, which is sufficient for a request. I'm still working on getting my list up to 50 articles created and then filling out my request. --Activism1234 20:13, 29 August 2012 (UTC)
- Although I'm not sure whether you do or not. --Activism1234 20:14, 29 August 2012 (UTC)
- Thanks for suggestion. But I have. I got it before I met the requirements. I think an admin will provide you with this right soon since you are very very good editor. Please keep creating such stories to inform people...Egeymi (talk) 20:18, 29 August 2012 (UTC)

Saudi names
You have been adding listas to talk pages like Talk:Abdulrahman bin Abdullah Al Barrak. FYI... the listas value does not include "Al". Correct value is listas=Barrak, Abdulrahman bin Abdullah. It is sort of the same reason that von is left off German names or de is left off Dutch names. Bgwhite (talk) 06:48, 2 September 2012 (UTC)
- Thanks for info, I will follow it.Egeymi (talk) 08:30, 2 September 2012 (UTC)
- Forgot some other Islamic names... El is also left off. Bin/Ben are kept when capitalized in names and not when lower case, but there are exceptions. Obama bin Laden is an exception as the sort value is bin Laden, Obama. Bgwhite (talk) 08:37, 2 September 2012 (UTC)
- OK, can ask you if I come across other name conventions before adding listas?Egeymi (talk) 08:40, 2 September 2012 (UTC)
- Ask anytime. Bgwhite (talk) 08:44, 2 September 2012 (UTC)

Translation notification: Wikimedia Highlights, July 2012
Hello Egeymi,You are receiving this notification because you signed up as a translator to Türkçe ve Almanca on Meta. The page Wikimedia Highlights, July 2012 is available for translation. You can translate it here:
The priority of this page is medium.
Note: This time, the "Wikimedia Foundation highlights" section does not include the usual coverage of the most notable work of Foundation staff during that month. Instead, it contains a list of talks given by Foundation staff at Wikimania, summarizing their most important work the year over. It looks like a lot of text, but only the talk titles will need to be translated. The intention is that these titles alone can already give readers a good overview of what the Foundation is working on in general.

Disambiguation link notification for September 4
Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Misplaced Pages appreciates your help. We noticed though that you've added some links pointing to disambiguation pages. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

DYK for Mika Yamamoto
On 7 September 2012, Did you know? was updated with a fact from the article Mika Yamamoto, which you created or substantially expanded. The fact was ... that Mika Yamamoto, the fifteenth journalist killed in Syria in 2012, was the first Japanese reporter to be killed in the ongoing armed political conflict in Syria? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/Mika Yamamoto. You are welcome to check how many hits the article got while on the front page (here's how, quick check) and it will be added to DYKSTATS if it got over 5,000. Category:Armenian terrorism
I read what you wrote on the talk page, but as this category was deleted after a deletion discussion at Misplaced Pages:Categories for discussion/Log/2007 March 15 (fifth item in the list) it cannot simply be re-created. If you think it should be restored, you need to make your case at WP:Deletion review, but read WP:TERRORIST first. JohnCD (talk) 15:35, 8 September 2012 (UTC)
- Thanks for explanation, I read old discussion page after you had deleted the category. In fact, the arguments put forward are convincing enough. Such a category is not appropriate. Thanks again for your taking time to explain the issue. Cheers, Egeymi (talk) 15:40, 8 September 2012 (UTC)
DYK for Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Rabiah
On 8 September 2012, Did you know? was updated with a fact from the article Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Rabiah, which you created or substantially expanded. The fact was ... that Abdullah Al Rabiah, once named the world's 45th most influential Arab by a business magazine, used to work as a surgeon who separated conjoined twins? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Rabiah. You are welcome to check how many hits the article got while on the front page (here's how, quick check) and it will be added to DYKSTATS if it got over 5,000. Looking at the edit history for Hashimi, really great job in adding so much information and improving the quality of the article! I noticed this on the front page and also read about it in the news, so gave it a hand with editing more info as well, but really great job!! Jiujitsuguy (talk) 21:20, 9 September 2012 (UTC) |
Thanks for this beautiful barnstar. And thanks for your fixing the article and adding info.Egeymi (talk) 21:23, 9 September 2012 (UTC)
