This is a list of Other Backward Classes in India. These are disadvantaged groups that are officially identified. Classification in and out, over time, changes. This list includes, with documentation, notable OBCs that have been identified at one time or another.
The current list of recognized OBC's is maintained by the National Commission for Backward Classes (NCBC).
