We just spoke via IRC. Third-party sources would be articles about you in newspapers or reputable literary magazines, or maybe published reviews of your novels (not just sales blurbs released by your publisher).
Due to your conflict of interest it may be best if you don't write the article yourself but wait until someone not associated with you writes an article about you. While writing an autobiography is strongly discouraged, it's not stricly forbidden, and if you believe you can write a neutral article about yourself and that enough reliable third-party sources exist to clearly establish your notability by Misplaced Pages's standrards, then my suggestion would be to turn User:Janeehill into a draft and to submit it for a review by an experienced editor. If you want me to, I can help you with that; just leave a note here or at my talk page. Yours, Huon (talk) 21:18, 3 July 2013 (UTC)
