David Daniel Hudson (born August 11, 1988), better known by his stage name Hudson, is an American rock singer born in Tulsa, Oklahoma and raised in Santa Barbara, California. He is best known for being Katy Perry's younger brother.

Hudson was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Maurice Keith Hudson and Mary Christine Perry. He is the youngest of three children, with two older sisters, Angela and Katheryn (Katy).

He released his first song, "A Real Man's Life," in late 2011 on YouTube. He released his second song, "To You," in July 2012, followed by his first EP, Dirty Face, in August 2012.

On February 21st, 2013, Hudson released his first single entitled "Chained" from his debut album The REVOLUTION . The song and album are produced by Los Angeles based producers The Rockstars.
