You haven't included a link to the source of this image. I know its a bitch to do, but could you do it? Or some of the more tight-ass Wikipedians may just go ahead and delete it. Dark Hummingbird 20:23, 31 May 2006 (UTC)

Sorry to bother you again, but this image is also unsourced. Dark Hummingbird 20:26, 31 May 2006 (UTC)

Requested links

You, understandably, have requested links to verify the announcement of a future game's release. I am in the process of checking if this game has officially been announced. I happen to be friends with one who works at the company, and they have verbally verified to me. However, like I said, I'm uncertain it has been officially announced yet. Again, I am researching this to see if this is the case. If not, then I will provide all links on its announcement date. Thanks. ClintFord 14:15, 1 June 2006 (UTC)

Thanks

Just a quick note of thanks. As is probably obvious, I am still trying to learn how to work with Misplaced Pages, so thanks for your guidance. --Major Despard 06:02, 2 June 2006 (UTC)

HL2: Episode 4

Just to repeat what I wrote in the Discussion on that article: "I read it in an interview somewhere on the net and I am just trying to find it now. I also have confirmation in the June 2006 issue of PC Gamer UK. But I'm not sure I could easily scan that in and get away with it. But please just bear with me whilst I find the confirmation." — Preceding unsigned comment added by Clockwork Apricot (talkcontribs)

MINERVA RV

Thanks, I have no idea what happened but it just would not recover the article in my FF!!! ah well, cheers for fixing it -- Tmorton166 (Errant Emote) 02:49, 10 June 2006 (UTC)

DVD+R/W's RfA

Thank you for your support in my RfA, which ended with the result of (74/0/0). If there is anything I can help with feel free to ask. Also, if there is anything I am doing wrong, please point that out as well. I look forward to working with you in the future.

Highest regards, DVD+ R/W 02:28, 17 June 2006 (UTC)

Call of Duty 3

Sorry about that. The main text of the article didn't mention those consoles, so I figured it was vandalism as someone had previously tried to add consoles which there was no word of any support for. Thanks for catching that. Tnikkel 07:52, 17 June 2006 (UTC)

Thank you for your support

Dear Thunderbrand,
Thank you very much for your support on my recent RfA. I am pleased to announce that it passed with a tally of 72/11/1, and I am now an administrator. I'll be taking things slowly at first and getting used to the tools, but please let me know if there are any admin jobs I can do to help you, now or in the future. —Cuiviénen 02:24, 18 June 2006 (UTC)

RfA thanks!

File:FA-22 Raptor.jpg Thanks for voting!
Hello Thunderbrand, and thank you so much for voting in my recent RfA. I am pleased to inform you that it passed with a final tally of (119/1/3), into the WP:100, so I have now been cleared for adminship and will soon be soaring above the clouds. I was overjoyed, shocked, and humbled by the tally, and, most importantly, all the support. Thank you. If there is ever anything you need, you know where you can find me. Take care.

Images you tagged for deletion

Hi, just wanted to let you know about a number of the video game images you tagged for deletion. Those were all claimed under fair use and you nominated them for deletion because they were not being used in any articles. Just so you know, you can use {{subst:orfud}} to tag them for speedy deletion instead (see CSD I5) and you don't have to go through the entire IFD process that way. Regards, howcheng {chat} 00:07, 24 June 2006 (UTC)

Wilhelm

Jarlaxle can be a very stubborn user at times, but I don't think the images is a major issue either way :) Once Episode III comes out, I'm going to be doing a complete rework of all Xenosaga pages for updates and removal of speculation and excess cruft. At that point, we can also update the images without any complaints. — Deckiller 22:27, 24 June 2006 (UTC)

Re: Episode Two edit

Yes, that was accidental - sorry about that! For some reason, my browser often likes to delete half (or more) of the text box when I edit a page. I'm usually pretty good about checking that, but it slipped past me that time. Thanks for bringing it to my attention, though, and I'll try my best to keep that from happening again. Re:Ext. links

I'd say keep Arwing Landing and maybe The StarFox Database only because it has the official SF comics. But Starwing HQ doesn't strike me as a valuable fan site, especially since it seems that fans of the site are trying really hard to keep it on the page. I guess we could use a couple more sites on the page (like the Metroid series one has), but right now I'm of the opinion that the two I mentioned above are the only ones worth keeping. If you want to start a talk page thread on it to get more input, I guess that could be useful too. Robert 20:02, 26 June 2006 (UTC)

Metroid seems like it has too many, but I dunno, I will think about it later. Also, see my post on the List of Star Fox planets and locations talk page about Venom. Thunderbrand 05:01, 27 June 2006 (UTC)
Now that I think about it, you're right about the Metroid series. Let's keep it at a maximum of two sites, and preferably only one. Robert 12:58, 27 June 2006 (UTC)

Interested in an encore?

Hey, Thunderbrand!

Interested in getting Half-Life up to Featured Article status? We did it once, we can do it again! Drop me a line when you can.

Linuxbeak (AAAA!) 16:11, 27 June 2006 (UTC)

Excellent. I'll get started later today, then. Linuxbeak (AAAA!) 16:22, 27 June 2006 (UTC)
We're up and rolling. See Talk:Half-Life#Featured_drive. You might want to add yourself to the "maintained" template and put a notice up on the CVG page. Linuxbeak (AAAA!) 00:45, 1 July 2006 (UTC)

Will you be on IRC? We could get a lot done. Linuxbeak (AAAA!) 00:41, 2 July 2006 (UTC)

IRC is actually not that complicated. I could help you set it up later (if you want). Linuxbeak (AAAA!) 01:02, 2 July 2006 (UTC)

Spoiler tags

On the discussion of Misplaced Pages:Spoiler warnings, I have to say that currently I'm actively advocating against the use of spoiler tags, paticularly their misuse and use in the encyclopedia. I suspect that the only thing that will stop this problem is a concensus by editors wikiproject by project. I've made an elaborate proposal on the talk of WP:CVG. -Randall Brackett 20:50, 3 July 2006 (UTC)
