Thank you for using VisualEditor and sharing your ideas with the developers.

Hello, Gudzwabofer,

The Editing team is asking for your help with VisualEditor. I am contacting you because you may have tried to use VisualEditor before. Please tell them what they need to change to make VisualEditor work well for you. The team has a list of top-priority problems, but they also want to hear about small problems. These problems may make editing less fun, take too much of your time, or be as annoying as a paper cut. The Editing team wants to hear about and try to fix these small things, too.

You can share your thoughts by clicking this link. You may respond to this quick, simple, anonymous survey in your own language. If you take the survey, then you agree your responses may be used in accordance with these terms. This survey is powered by Qualtrics and their use of your information is governed by their privacy policy.

More information (including a translateable list of the questions) is posted on wiki at mw:VisualEditor/Survey 2015. If you have questions, or prefer to respond on-wiki, then please leave a message on the survey's talk page.

Research question...

Hi, Gudz (hope the nickname is ok), I am working on improving the following essay, WP:COIducks, and during my research to find areas of behavioral conflict, I ended up at Talk:Naturopathy where I read some of your posts. Since CAM, integrative and alternative medicine are mentioned in the essay, would you be so kind as to give it a read, and offer any suggestions at the essay's TP? Thx in advance. Atsme 16:00, 5 April 2015 (UTC)

Gudzwabofer you should be aware that this posting is WP:CANVASSING unless of course Atsme has left similar messages on the talk pages of all the people who were working on Naturopathy, which I do not see that she has done yet. I have notified her. Jytdog (talk) 16:14, 5 April 2015 (UTC)
What you just did was inappropriate, Jytdog. Your misapprehension and poor interpretations of WP:PAG are beginning to weigh heavily on the patience of a growing number of editors. I am trying to improve an essay I authored, and your interference here is unwarranted. Gudz, your input as an editor regarding the essay will be much appreciated.
Jytdog - you need to review WP:CANVASSING because it clearly states:
APPROPRIATE NOTIFICATION: On the user talk pages of concerned editors.
Examples include:
Editors who have participated in previous discussions on the same topic (or closely related topics)
Editors known for expertise in the field
Editors who have asked to be kept informedOn the user talk pages of concerned editors. Examples include:
Editors who have made substantial edits to the topic or article Atsme 16:43, 5 April 2015 (UTC)
if you notify everyone involved in the content disputes at Naturopathy, you will not be violating the guideline. if you only notify those on one side, you are. Which ones of those bullet points does not apply to the other editors in those disputes? Neutral distribution matters. Jytdog (talk) 16:59, 5 April 2015 (UTC)
Wrong. This isn't about that particular article. It's about collaboration on the essay I authored. See the guideline under Advertise: Look at the history of contributors to articles that fall within your collaboration's topical area. Many of them might consider joining your collaboration if you leave a message on their talk page. My efforts now are to improve the essay, so please stop interfering with my work, and go write your own essay. What you're doing now is highly disruptive per WP:Incivility. Atsme 17:32, 5 April 2015 (UTC)
Sorry, Gudz. I am withdrawing my invitation to avoid further conflict based on the disruptive comments by Jytdog. Please do not read WP:COIducks or provide any input at its TP in a collaborative effort. Atsme 20:26, 5 April 2015 (UTC)
