Disambiguation link notification for March 6
Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Misplaced Pages appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited H&M, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Sakarya (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Erdoğan and AKP
When did Erdoğan leave AKP? Alakzi (talk) 11:10, 6 April 2015 (UTC)
- Yes Alakzi, his membership officially ended by Constitution of Turkey. See: Maurice Flesier (talk) 11:16, 6 April 2015 (UTC)
- Yes, the constitution does say that, but he question is, did he? Can you find a source that says as much? Alakzi (talk) 14:39, 10 April 2015 (UTC)
Turkey Name and Motto
Hello there Maurice,
I respect you as a major Misplaced Pages editor, you obviously know a lot about the subject of Turkey. I thank you for your edit but I am completely sure that the official name of Turkey, under the constitution of the the nation, is the "State of Turkey" And the motto is also official, under The 1982 amended constitution. I fully respect your edit to the article for Turkey but please, revert your changes as the information was correct.
Please Maurice, do not take this in a hostile way, I respect your edits but it is incorrect, my deepest apologies for this.

Istanbul World Heritage Sites
Hallo Maurice, I started a thread on Talk:Istanbul#Istanbul_World_Heritage_Sites. Bye Alex2006 (talk) 11:19, 17 April 2015 (UTC)
Inclusion of Turkish in non-Turkish settlements
Why do you insist on adding Turkish names for non-Turkish settlements in Kosovo? This is redundant (and unconstructive).--Zoupan 15:57, 28 April 2015 (UTC)
- Non-Turkish settlements cannot be considered as a reason. As I said on the summary, Turkish language officially recognized regional language for Municipalities of Kosovo like Albanian and Serbian!! Maurice Flesier (talk) 16:06, 28 April 2015 (UTC)
- Bosniak, Romani are as well. Common sense: Turks constitute less than 0.1%—no need for Turkish. I will report you since you insist on reverting.--Zoupan 16:13, 28 April 2015 (UTC)

- Wrong forum; I started a new thread, Misplaced Pages:Neutral_point_of_view/Noticeboard#Turkish_language_in_introduction_of_Gra.C4.8Danica.2C_Kosovo.--Zoupan 15:39, 29 April 2015 (UTC)

So, if there is an ongoing discussion, the stable version stays.--Zoupan 17:56, 3 May 2015 (UTC)
Sorry
I was just reverting myself, having noticed too late that the column was headed "UNWTO region", but I'd taken too long checking it on the UNWTO site. Sorry for putting you to the trouble of reverting me. It does make me wonder whether that column is very helpful - but I'll not get involved in that now! NebY (talk) 11:20, 29 April 2015 (UTC)
- There is no reason to apologize, NebY. Technically, you're right. Antalya geographically is located in Asia. But the UN World Tourism Organisation shows to Turkey in Europe just like İsrael. I think that this column be removeD for Euromonitor and MasterCard reports. Ultimately, the WTO regions has nothing to do with them. Thus, the disputes that may arise in the future can be avoided. Maurice Flesier (talk) 12:13, 29 April 2015 (UTC)
- Thank you! I agree; I suppose I could check the history to see if this has been a matter of discussion or dispute before but otherwise we could just go ahead. I'm even wondering whether using UNWTO regions in any of the tables helps at all, or whether readers would find the customary geographic continents more useful. NebY (talk) 17:46, 29 April 2015 (UTC)
