Deray McKesson

Deray McKesson is an American civil rights activist. McKesson is part of We The Protesters, a group organizing peaceful protests in response to the continued oppression of African Americans. In addition to participating in Ferguson, MO and Baltimore, MD protests, McKesson circulates media through his active Twitter account, Instagram account, and Snapchat account to audiences unable to attend in person.

Beyond his social media presence, McKesson has participated in discussions on CNN with Wolf Blitzer, written for The Huffington Post, and been cited in other news sources like The Guardian as a voice of the people.
