Zeynəddin (also Zeynaddin, Zeyneddin and Zeynəddin Mazra) is a village and municipality in the Babek Rayon of Nakhchivan, Azerbaijan. It is located 12 km north-east from the district center, on the foothill plain. Its population is busy with grain-growing, vegetable-growing, vine-growing and animal husbandry. There are a secondary school, club, culture house, library, mosque and a medical center in the village. It has a population of 2,708. In the territory of the village have been recorded the "Dəyirman yeri" archaeological monument of the 5-3 millennium BC.
Etymology
Its previous name was Zeynaddin Mazra. Mazra in the Arabic language means "the sown area". The territory of the village was a sown area which belonged to a person named "Zeyneddin". Later, the settlement which was founded here was called by the name of this area.
