Fails PORNBIO and the GNG. No qualifying awards, just nominations. No independent reliable sourcing. No non-trivial biographical content. "Best Actress—Couples-Themed Release" is a recently created, little-noted award category with no discernible selection criteria; in fact. "Couples-Themed Release" is an arbitrary/meaningless category -- the term gets no GBooks hits, and virtually all, if not all, the Ghits relate to this or related award categories, not do any topic with independent meaning. Even if this were to get a technical, tenuous PORNBIO pass, that is outweighed by the utter failure to even remotely approach meeting the GNG. The Big Bad Wolfowitz (aka Hullaballoo). (en-2) 01:35, 7 August 2016 (UTC)- Comment: an award confers some nature of possible notability, but actual notability still needs to be demonstrated via "significant coverage in reliable sources" as per WP:GNG. K.e.coffman (talk) 09:31, 7 August 2016 (UTC)
- Comment. The PORNBIO standard requires a "well-known" and "significant" award, which is a higher standard than an "individual" award. This !vote misrepresents the applicable guideline and should therefore be disregarded. The Big Bad Wolfowitz (aka Hullaballoo). Treated like dirt by administrators since 2006. - Keep. Passes WP:PORNBIO with her XBIZ Award for Best Actress (Couples-Themed Release), which is a well-known/significant industry award that is not a scene-related/ensemble category. Misplaced Pages:Articles for deletion/Eva Angelina resulted in keep due to several award wins, among them XBIZ and Best Actress. Winning a subcategory of Best Actress is just as valid under PORNBIO as winning a generic Best Actress award. It's not unusual for porn awards to have Best Actress subcategories instead of a generic Best Actress award. XBIZ having Best Actress (Feature Release), Best Actress (Parody Release), Best Actress (Couples-Themed Release), and Best Actress (All-Girl Release) subcategories is no different from AVN having Best Actress (Film) and Best Actress (Video) subcategories, NightMoves having Best Actress (Fan's Choice) and Best Actress (Editor's Choice) subcategories, or Venus having Best Actress (USA), Best Actress (Hungary), Best Actress (Scandinavia), Best Actress (France), Best Actress (Germany), and Best Actress (Europe) subcategories. The Eva Angelina AfD I cited above had participants who voted keep with her AVN Best Actress (Video) award, a subcategory/not generic, being one of the reasons why. Even if, in addition to a Best Actress subcategory, an award show had a generic Best Actress award, the recipient of the subcategory would also pass PORNBIO. Christy Mack received a Best Actress (International) Venus Award in a ceremony where a generic Best Actress award was also given, and participants in her AfD (Misplaced Pages:Articles for deletion/Christy Mack) voted keep with her Venus Best Actress (International) award being one of the reasons why. XBIZ's Best Actress (Couples-Themed Release) is just as valid under PORNBIO as AVN's Best Actress (Video) and Venus's Best Actress (International). Rebecca1990 (talk) 07:18, 8 August 2016 (UTC)
- What is the coverage that demonstrates the subject's notability? An awards confers some measure of presumed notability, but the actual notability still needs to be demonstrated via significant coverage in reliable sources that are independent of the subject, as per WP:GNG. K.e.coffman (talk) 09:20, 8 August 2016 (UTC)
- Delete as nothing at all close for the substance of independent notability. SwisterTwister talk 22:50, 8 August 2016 (UTC)
- Comment. All delete votes above are either claiming that Nicole fails WP:PORNBIO, even though she undeniably passes it ("Has won a well-known and significant industry award"), or asking that the article be deleted because she fails GNG, which doesn't matter. Consensus has repeatedly supported keeping articles that fail GNG if they pass PORNBIO. Rebecca1990 (talk) 15:25, 10 August 2016 (UTC)
- Consensus can change may apply. As part of AfD, each article is evaluated on its own merits, I believe. K.e.coffman (talk) 15:32, 10 August 2016 (UTC)
- Delete The keep-ers seem to have neglected to read the introduction to PORNBIO, which says: "People are likely to be notable if they meet any of the following standards. ... meeting one or more does not guarantee that a subject should be included." (bolding in original, underlining added) The article says absolutely nothing about Keira Nicole except that she's won and been nominated for awards. That's just not enough to be notable. — MShabazz /Stalk 18:14, 13 August 2016 (UTC)
