Tim McLelland (formerly Laming) was born on August 8 1962 in Sheffield. He died in the Sheffield Northern General Hospital (Macmillan Palliative Care Unit) on November 6 2015.
Tim McLelland was a celebrated aviation author, photographer and journalist. Self taught with no formal qualifications, he went on to create over 40 different titles, which covered many different subjects.
