Location
Pangbourne is located some 5 miles from Reading and 20 miles from Oxford on the River Thames and is directly across the river from the smaller Oxfordshire village of Whitchurch-on-Thames. The two villages are connected by Whitchurch Bridge and often considered as a single settlement. Goring has a railway station on the Reading to Oxford railway line.

Local Government
