Chishtian (Template:Lang-ur) is a city in Bahawalnagar district in Punjab Province, Pakistan. For administrative purposes, it is a part of the similarly-named Chishtian Tehsil.

It was previously a sub-division of Bahawalpur Division, which was part of Bahawalpur State. It is also known as Chishtian Mandi due to its grain market, which is the economic hub of the city, and as Chishtian Shareef due to the presence of shrines of Sufi saints. There are several mills and factories located in city.

Education

Shrine of Khawaja Noor Muhammad Maharvi is also located in the old Chishtian.
