Harry Binswanger (born in Manhattan, New York City in 1950) is a philosopher and writer. He received his BA in psychology from Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and his PhD. in philosophy from Columbia University, where he studied with Ernest Nagel. He was a friend of Ayn Rand, and his subsequent philosophical work has been done in the objectivist tradition. He edited the second edition of Rand's book, Introduction to Objectivist Epistemology, and frequently contributes to Objectivist publications.

His own book, The Biological Basis of Teleological Concepts, was published in 1990.
