Let's talk about me some...

Who am I?

How did I get here?

I don't remember! I think I read about Misplaced Pages somewhere on the net sometime in 2003, and have been using it for general reference ever since. In March of 2004, I started getting heavily into the process of editing/creation.

What am I doing here?

Usually I'm wasting time.

I enjoy maintenance-type work, like adopting pages, merging pages, and un-deadending pages.

I'm also starting a write-up about a possible project to educate people in Academia about Misplaced Pages.

Pages I've Created

I tend to not create pages (as I enjoy maintaining more), but every now and again the fancy strikes me. Here's the list of pages I've created, with the newest at the top:

  • "I cannot imagine a God who rewards and punishes the objects of his creation, whose purposes are modeled after our own -- a God, in short, who is but a reflection of human frailty. Neither can I believe that the individual survives the death of his body, although feeble souls harbor such thoughts through fear or ridiculous egotisms." ~ Albert Einstein, obituary in New York Times, 19 April 1955.
  • "Management is doing things right; leadership is doing the right things." ~ Peter Drucker
  • "Whatever you do will be insignificant, but it is very important that you do it." ~ Mahatma Gandhi

  • "Someday I want to be rich. Some people get so rich they lose all respect for humanity. That's how rich I want to be." ~ Rita Rudner
  • "Reminds me of my safari in Africa. Somebody forgot the corkscrew and for several days we had to live on nothing but food and water." ~ W. C. Fields
