Juan Branco is a French-Spanish Lawyer. He has represented Julian Assange and Wikileaks. and was an adviser to the Criminal Special Court of Central Africa. Recruited as an independent expert, he was fired by the UN for accusing its armed forces to have committed a massacre in the country. As one of Julian Assange advisers, he distanced himself from the publication of the 2017 Macron e-mail leaks in 2017 but defended Wikileaks publication of John Podesta and the 2016 Democratic National Committee email leak
