Quick note

I provided you notice of the discretionary sanctions on alt med and pseudoscience. Your removing them, means that you are aware of them.

If you are not familiar with "discretionary sanctions" please take time to become familiar with them. They fill an important role in Misplaced Pages and they are placed only on topics where they are needed. I understand you will probably remove this but I do hope you are able to hear this. Jytdog (talk) 21:28, 22 May 2018 (UTC)

I await your brilliant version of the article. I think I might be waiting for some time. violet/riga  21:30, 22 May 2018 (UTC)

Alt med and pseudoscience

I will be filing at AE to have you topic banned from editing about health if you keep adding alt-med, pseudoscience-hyping content to Misplaced Pages. I will not warn you again. If I file this case I have little doubt that the topic ban will be enacted. All I can do is warn you. Jytdog (talk) 00:01, 23 May 2018 (UTC)

Not interested in your politics. I want to work on this ‘’collaborative’’ project. violet/riga  00:04, 23 May 2018 (UTC)
(edit conflict) Jyt, if you weren't aware, violetriga is a former admin and is certainly familiar with the concept of discretionary sanctions. Natureium (talk) 00:05, 23 May 2018 (UTC)
Comments like this will be the basis for sanctions. Jytdog (talk) 00:09, 23 May 2018 (UTC)
I think that your comments are more aggressive. I was merely pointing out that perhaps you’re not all-knowing about the topic. violet/riga  00:10, 23 May 2018 (UTC)
(edit conflict)Also this personal attack similar to the one above, as well as comments like the following that show complete disregard for MEDRS: this and especially this (there were zero MEDRS sources) and very especially this was about a pseudoscience=hyping claim that this editor thinks is "fine" because it is attributed. That is an approach to FRINGE topics that would lead WP into the gutter, if everybody followed it. This person is digging their own hole.
Not to mention the DYK filing itself which never should have been posted, much less approved. There is no leg to stand on here. Jytdog (talk) 00:14, 23 May 2018 (UTC)
I think you have WP:OWN issues. I also think that I’ve been rather well behaved considering your opposition. violet/riga  00:17, 23 May 2018 (UTC)
You can think what you like. Your editing about health is unacceptable and you are completely resistant to adjusting it. So, the community will prevent further problems if you continue. Jytdog (talk) 00:19, 23 May 2018 (UTC)
I’ve never been topic-banned before. What’s it like? violet/riga  00:21, 23 May 2018 (UTC)
It is sometimes frustrating. Jytdog (talk) 00:41, 23 May 2018 (UTC)

Jytdog. Stop threatening editors. Your viewpoint on what happened on the blood transfusion article leaves out your very questionable behaviour and you have skewed what this editor did in what was good faith.(Littleolive oil (talk) 01:51, 23 May 2018 (UTC))

Blood transfusion

I'm going to have to leave you on this article; I'm way behind on real life work. Best wishes.(Littleolive oil (talk) 00:28, 25 May 2018 (UTC))

I know the feeling. Thank you and best wishes. violet/riga  00:35, 25 May 2018 (UTC)
I saw that you removed the DS tags on this article. They are pretty standard for medical related articles and especially Fringe articles these days. I'll readd them; not sure why Godric removed them again. I'm galloping off to do real life stuff and shouldn't have looked at the article. :O](Littleolive oil (talk) 15:29, 25 May 2018 (UTC))
Thanks for that. I considered calling the article ‘fringe’ to be a biased position but I’m willing to concede that it could be called that. violet/riga  17:52, 25 May 2018 (UTC)
Fringe seems to have taken on a pejorative meaning on WP but all new research is fringe to begin with.:O)(Littleolive oil (talk) 20:32, 25 May 2018 (UTC))

Why did you perform an undo on my edit of the Virginia Dare page?

My description of VDARE is both more accurate and tracks much more precisely with the entry on VDARE. Describing VDARE as "an anti-illegal immigration site" is not only misleading, it verges on outright lying. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Desitively (talkcontribs) 00:00, 26 May 2018 (UTC)

There is no reference given to substantiate that claim. I've changed it to "controversial" but that's not ideal. A source (which I'm sure you can find in VDARE) would be the best option. violet/riga  00:08, 26 May 2018 (UTC)
Well, let's see; there's the VDARE page itself, which openly describes the group as "white nationalist", "white supremacist", "anti-immigration" (not "anti-illegal immigration") and even correctly notes that it is designated a hate group by the SPLC. I mean, I can definitely dig up very specific cites to prove my point and cite it properly on the Virginia Dare entry. I am, however, curious if this is something you have trouble seeing and understanding or if you're being particular about any changes to the page. Although I have to wonder why the Virginia Dare page (and that particular claim for VDARE) merits your extra close attention for you to swoop down on my edit so swiftly. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Desitively (talkcontribs) 00:35, 26 May 2018 (UTC)
New accounts are often used for vandalism. I don’t class your edit as vandalism but that’s why it caught my attention. Please do use any reliable source to substantiate the label and then it can remain. violet/riga  00:38, 26 May 2018 (UTC)
I've moved some material from VDARE into the article, with several sources. Doug Weller talk 14:54, 26 May 2018 (UTC)

Continued warring at Young blood transfusion

As you know there was a recent edit warring complaint about this article which is still on the board. Since my last comment there, you have made this edit. There has been an active disussion on the article talk page, which I referred to in my closure. However, your new change at first glance appears to be continued edit warring. It does not appear to enjoy consensus from the discussion. If you think your change is supported by consensus on talk, can you link to where that occurred? EdJohnston (talk) 16:58, 29 May 2018 (UTC)

If you look at the recent talk history of that article I made it clear that I intended to make those changes and no comments were forthcoming to oppose their inclusion after 24 hours. Indeed, Roxy the dog said Actually, I don't mind us noting that some nutters in Silicon Valley are spending stupid amounts of money on a ridiculously unproven anti-aging "therapy." so I took that as being support for inclusion for the Silicon Valley trend section. As for the News media section I posted here that I planned to add the content after giving reliable sources and plenty of time for opposition. Since there was no opposition two days later I added it. If Jytdog doesn't engage in conversation I'm not sure how to make any progress. violet/riga  17:09, 29 May 2018 (UTC)
