Yo, SPUI, are you really going? I know you and I didn't interact a whole lot while we've both been here, but I think it would be a shame if you left the project. If you are taking a break, I hope it's a temporary one. (And if you were just going for a zen thing with an all-blank talk page... sorry for screwing that up.) - I think this is regrettable, but hopefully it's just a wikibreak and you'll be back. You do a lot of solid work, but I don't think you'd deny that you've caused your share of friction as well. Maybe a dose of real life will restore the inner SPUI. Guy 09:20, 7 October 2006 (UTC)

- Whatever turns you on... but is it really something other Wikipedians need to know? *Dan T.* 23:25, 7 October 2006 (UTC)
- SPUI would have needed to know. =P --Kitch 13:34, 11 October 2006 (UTC)
Smile!
--Kitch has smiled at you! Smiles promote WikiLove and hopefully this one has made your day better. Spread the WikiLove by smiling to someone else, whether it be someone you have had disagreements with in the past or a good friend. Smile to others by adding {{subst:smile}}, {{subst:smile2}} or {{subst:smile3}} to their talk page with a friendly message. Happy editing!
Highway Map
That's great! As a cartography fan, I have only one question: where/how did you find it? OK, that's a lie, I have lots of questions, but only time and room for one at a time. Scoutersig 17:58, 13 October 2006 (UTC)
Blocked for Disruption on Talk:State Road 913 (Florida)
You were asked not to do that and given a warning block for this before. You have ignored it, I have now blocked you for 24 hours.--Konst.able 05:09, 24 October 2006 (UTC)
- I have noticed that Lar hasn't actually warned you on your talk page, just blocked you. So I have shorterned the block to 8 hours. Please behave.--Konst.able 05:20, 24 October 2006 (UTC)
I suggest you get serious

SPUI, I would appreciate it if you would stop using the 'squidward' edit summaries. More explanatory summaries would help to avoid confusion and conflict. I understand that you may be feeling less than willing to extend the effort for such courtesies given the way the road poll went. There were numerous problems of civility and process there which led to many arbitrary and debatable results, and I apologize for that. Despite the problems I think we had reached the point where we needed some sort of standard and could only hope it could be made remotely acceptable to those who felt a different way would be better. I had thought you dealt with the whole disaster quite well, but now you've got to know that this 'squidward' stuff is just going to stir things up again. As I was one of the people giving 'official sanction' to the browbeating with which the road standards were pushed through I may not be the best to ask you to look past it, but I hope that you will anyway. I think you had many good things to say in that discussion, could do alot to keep road articles clean with 'pipe trick' links where appropriate, and have much more to do. People will always disagree about how things should be done and the resulting disputes are often petty and short-sighted, but there is always more of 'Misplaced Pages' to be built and I think that is something worth doing regardless of all the flaws, personality conflicts, and decisions with which we might disagree. --CBD 13:30, 25 October 2006 (UTC)
