RuPaul's Drag Race

Reason: All seasons of the show need to be protected. The progress tables were recently changed to remove a bunch of policy-violating WP:OR, and now there is a sudden spate of new editors creating accounts solely to revert the change.

Sexual slavery in Islam

Hello! I am not sure if I am putting this post this in the correct place, so please excuse me it is not.

The article Sexual slavery in Islam is continually being vandalized by users (often anonymous IPs), who delete large, referenced blocks of texts. The reason for this appear to be that the information is slander against Islam. These edits are always reverted by experienced users, and since these edits are never referenced and instead removes referenced information, it is easy to make the assumption that there is a religios bias from users who which to remove referenced information because they think that this information put their religion in a bad light. Recently, I myself ask for citations from certain information in the article, but this was reverted by a user who claimed these sentences had references, even if they did not. Clearly, the article attracts emotions.

Another issue has come up: the article has long had a neutrality template. Because of the consistent vandalizing, I wondered if the neutrality template was in fact placed their originally because of religious bias. I made this question on the talk page, and the template was indeed removed. It has since been restored. I have to say, that the article is large, I have not read all of it, I am not an expert in the subject, and I cannot be entirely certain whether the neutrality template is warranted or not. And since I recognize that this is a sensitive issue, I simply don't have the energy to involve myself further.

However, it is safe to say that the article is about a very sensitive subject, and I am forced to revert vandalism so often that I wonder; should not an article that are so sensitive and vandalized so often as this one have some sort of protection? Many sensitive articles who are often vandalized have such a protection, at least against IP-editing. So my question is; can this article be protected? It truly needs it, I have to revert vandalism more often on it than any of the other articles on my watchlist. Best greetings,--Aciram (talk) 17:11, 8 September 2021 (UTC)

Haqqani network

Reason: High level of vandalism and edits by IPs and new inexperienced accounts. This article is getting a lot of traffic now because of current political events (Fall of Kabul (2021)). And with it there have been a lot of editors making inconstructive or bad changes, including edits to the infobox removing sourced material of "allies/enemies" and other info in the lead. Several of these editors are clearly editing them based on their own political agendas. This is a sensitive topic in the long-term related to Afghanistan and South Asia. I strongly believe this article should get Pending Changes protection. This will allow good editors and admins to keep edits in scrutiny, which is what definitely needs to be the case for something sensitive and in current news. WR 20:15, 8 September 2021 (UTC)

Louisiana College

Reason: It has come to my attention that user Ethanf9877 has edited the Louisiana College Misplaced Pages page numerous times with clear malicious intent. Included in the edits were provably false statements as well as the deletion of factual information in order to cast the college in a negative light. Other editors have contributed objectively false information that intentionally reflects a non objective approach by showing a clear opinion on subject matter. Completely fabricated policies have also been listed. I would request that this page become protected so that the page can be properly written and edited without editors deleting information and defaming the college. Legal action is being considered. User Ethanf9877 has also created a page for a faculty member, Joshua Joy Dara, that also is clearly written from a skewed perspective that needs to be corrected. Not only this, but on Dara's page a graphic depiction of male and female genitalia has been hyperlinked to the words "Pubic hair". This is highly inappropriate and records of these edits have been archived. The college has a staff of writers who will accurately and objectively include information on the college in the Misplaced Pages articles relating to the college. I request that this page be protected in a manner to prevent editors such as Ethanf9877 and others who wish to defame the institution and it's faculty from being able to delete and skew information once it is added, as this will without a doubt occur once changes are made. Blocking or banning Ethanf9877 would be highly appropriate as one can tell from the edit history of this user that the user is seeking to change the perception of public figures and institutions. EyesInTheSky777 (talk) 20:25, 8 September 2021 (UTC)

Declined – Not enough recent disruptive activity to justify protection.. Also, in relation to your comment of "The college has a staff of writers who will accurately and objectively include information on the college in the Misplaced Pages articles relating to the college", editors with a close association with the college (see WP:COI) should cease from editing the article directly and instead request edits to the article via the article talk page. You and any other editors involved with the college will need to declare your conflict of interest at your userpage(s). Longhair\ 21:05, 8 September 2021 (UTC)

Non-fungible token

Indefinite semi-protection: Persistent disruptive editing – Coming back from a period of (relative) absence, and taking a look at the page history, I see that the page is still subject to a constant deluge of promotional content and bare URLs. The 1RR restriction applicable to this page (cryptocurrency) means that it's difficult for editors to revert all of the disruptive additions that are made on any single day, without some sort of page protection.
