  • If a template you frequently edit had its protection level recently changed, ask the protecting admin if lowering the protection level is an option.

Here is my last request: Special:Permalink/1008760887#User:MJL.
For the sake of convenience, here are some of the edits I made using TPE back when I had it (really just minor stuff): I'd understand if I was only granted this for another probationary period. –MJLTalk 18:18, 1 September 2021 (UTC)
I find myself somewhat indifferent. This is a list of every template-space edit (~100) made since being granted TPE in February (minus the huge group of category-changing edits as a result of this CfD), and I'm just not seeing much more than minor gnoming. Does every TPE need to dedicate their life to editing in the template space? No, just as not every move by a PGM needs to have a suppressed redirect. Could the half-dozen template-potected edits have been via TPER? Probably, which is why I'm feeling somewhat disinclined; I'm still not really seeing the need.
That being said, none of the edits have been permanently or not-without-good-reason reverted, so that's a plus. Primefac (talk) 11:54, 4 September 2021 (UTC)
@Primefac: Part of the problem was that I went on a partial wikibreak in June. Either way, I wouldn't be heartbroken if this was denied. –MJLTalk 15:10, 4 September 2021 (UTC)
Not done per the serious case of "meh" from all parties. No prejudice against asking again in the future if there does turn out to be a more serious (or "often") need for this right. Primefac (talk) 19:50, 8 September 2021 (UTC)
