The National University of Modern Languages (NUMLs) (Urdu: قومی جامعہ برائے جدید لسانیات) is a multi-campus public university with its main campus located in Islamabad, Pakistan and other campuses in different cities of Pakistan.

Overview

The university was established as an institute in 1969 and upgraded to university in 2000. It offers undergraduate and postgraduate programs in languages, linguistics, social sciences, communications, engineering, management sciences and computer sciences. It is one of the largest university in the country. In 2013, the university was ranked in top 15 by the Higher Education Commission (Pakistan) (HEC) "general category" ranking.
