Please do not add unsourced or original content. Doing so violates Misplaced Pages's verifiability policy. If you continue to do so, your edits will be considered vandalism and you will be blocked from editing Misplaced Pages. --John (talk) 17:11, 30 July 2008 (UTC)

Please stop adding it at the introduction. Please see WP:MOSBIO. Thank you, --brewcrewer (yada, yada) 00:31, 7 August 2008 (UTC)
- There is a discussion about your edits here and it would be a good idea to take part in that discussion; for my part, I don't think you're necessarily wrong, but you do need to show that you're aware of our policies here. Thanks. --Rodhullandemu 00:57, 7 August 2008 (UTC)
- Now this is just getting silly. Given the timing of your edits, you've clearly had time to read the above message and even the concerns raised to to other Administrators, but haven't responded. I strongly advise you to do so, otherwise you will be blocked for disruptive editing. --Rodhullandemu 01:07, 7 August 2008 (UTC)
This is the last warning you will receive for your disruptive edits. The next time you violate Misplaced Pages's neutral point of view policy by inserting commentary or your personal analysis into an article, you will be blocked from editing Misplaced Pages. --John (talk) 01:09, 7 August 2008 (UTC)

You have been blocked from editing for a period of 55 hours in accordance with Misplaced Pages's blocking policy for disruptive editing and refusal- yes, outright refusal- to discuss your edits. Unacceptable.. Please stop. You are welcome to make useful contributions after the block expires. If you believe this block is unjustified you may contest this block by adding the text {{unblock|your reason here}} below. Rodhullandemu 01:34, 7 August 2008 (UTC)- If this is a shared IP address, and you didn't make the edit, consider creating an account for yourself so you can avoid further irrelevant notices.
- The fact that Eliot Spitzer may be of Jewish descent is almost irrelevant, and is not sourced. Bearian (talk) 16:08, 7 August 2008 (UTC)
Welcome back,
We hope that you can contribute constructively and respond to other editors. Before adding Category:American Jews to any article please check two things:
- There is a reliable source that the person is Jewish. For example, you recently added the Category:American Jews to WestBam. Not only is there no evidence that he's American (the evidence actually points to the contrary), there's no evidence that he's Jewish. Misplaced Pages's policy, Misplaced Pages:Biographies of living persons, does not allow for anything unsourced to be added to the biography of a living person that had potential to be contentious. Similarly, you recently added Category:American Jews to Gary Shaw, and there's no source that he's Jewish.
- There is not subcategory where the person's jewishness is already included. For example, you recently added Category:American Jews to Jack Ruby who is already included in Category:Polish-American Jews, thus making Category:American Jews superfluous. See Misplaced Pages:Categorization and subcategories for more information about the correct application of categories.

- Anytime you're ready to discuss your edits, please post here and someone will be around to unblock this IP. Otherwise, there seems to be a large amount of concern over your disruptive editing. You're well aware of this, I presume. Kuru 23:45, 10 August 2008 (UTC)
Your first edit right after back from a block, was again to the same article and to post the same edit as mentioned above. Unfortunately this past month has not instructed you in the way Misplaced Pages works and about our policies of verifiability. Blocked again.
You have been temporarily blocked from editing in accordance with Misplaced Pages's blocking policy for persistent vandalism. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make constructive contributions. If you believe this block is unjustified, you may contest the block by adding the text {{unblock|your reason here}} below. Alexf 20:59, 18 September 2008 (UTC)December 2008
Welcome to Misplaced Pages, and thank you for your contributions, including your edits to WestBam. However, please be aware of Misplaced Pages's policy that biographical information about living persons must not be libelous. Any controversial statements about a living person added to an article, or any other Misplaced Pages page, must include proper sources. Thank you. brewcrewer (yada, yada) 19:11, 19 December 2008 (UTC)
- If this is a shared IP address, and you didn't make the edit, consider creating an account for yourself so you can avoid further irrelevant notices.
Please do not add content without citing reliable sources, as you did to WestBam. Before making potentially controversial edits, it is recommended that you discuss them first on the article's talk page. If you are familiar with Misplaced Pages:Citing sources please take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. brewcrewer (yada, yada) 10:24, 28 December 2008 (UTC)
- If this is a shared IP address, and you didn't make any unconstructive edits, consider creating an account for yourself so you can avoid further irrelevant warnings.

This is the discussion page for an IP user, identified by the user's IP address. Many IP addresses change periodically, and are often shared by several users. If you are an IP user, you may create an account or log in to avoid future confusion with other IP users. Registering also hides your IP address. |
