Winning their last championship in 1967, the Maple Leafs' 55-season drought between championships is the longest current drought in the NHL. 198.166.184.52 (talk) 10:14, 8 April 2022 (UTC)
It doesn’t look great but it’s math and they may have a chance this year do you want Misplaced Pages to be wrong for the inevitable run to the semifinals and it becomes national/international news that they will break the drought Trolflagdor (talk) 10:31, 8 April 2022 (UTC)
- Done, 53 seasons is correct. BLAIXX 14:57, 8 April 2022 (UTC)
1967 is 55 years ago not 52 can we change that? Trolflagdor (talk) 10:20, 8 April 2022 (UTC)
- Don't forget that we count by seasons played, not by calendar year. There are some lockout years when hockey wasn't played and therefore the article has to be updated manually each year. Johnny Au (talk/contributions) 15:49, 8 April 2022 (UTC)
I believe it's now 54 years? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.212.139.99 (talk) 22:10, 14 May 2022 (UTC)
- It's 55 years, but 54 seasons, thanks to the 2004–05 lockout. GoodDay (talk) 02:34, 15 May 2022 (UTC)
- Thanks for the clarification. Johnny Au (talk/contributions) 16:00, 15 May 2022 (UTC)
