@Beland: Yes I have that book and have read it. There's quite a bit of pertinent information that should be in the article, and I hope to integrate it. Reading through this article, by the way, I'm struck by the lack of information on his character and personal life. I trust that is due to lack of sourcing, and the Freedland book can fill in that gap.Given the length of this article and the importance of the subject, I think that is worth exploring in a section.
