Hi @Tariqqureshi7:, I noticed the move you reverted from PNC to BNC.
The move was undiscussed because it was uncontroversial. BNC is the successor of PNC and PNC didn’t have reportedly any successor in Pakistan after 1971. In 1971, we can find sources about PNC being BNC. It didn’t win any seat in Bangladesh that doesn’t mean that we can't name it BNC. I understand that it is misleading. But redirecting Bangladesh National Congress to Pakistan National Congress was misleading too. Maybe we can split the article into two separate articles named PNC and BNC. But even if it is not possible to create BNC because of notability, there is no reason to move it back to PNC because there is no proof of its existence after 1971 and BNC immediately succeeded it that time. So I believe the move doesn’t contradict Misplaced Pages guidelines. Mehedi Abedin14:17, 29 August 2024 (UTC)
