Thank you and kudos
I have just finished spending the past two years and two months going through each edit for each article on this case, whenever one of you did not beat me to it, or unless the article got deleted or redirected first, trying my best to remove any and all copyvios large, small, or even miniscule rather than leave anything questionable. :) I can't guarantee you won't find anything at all that still needs to be removed or rewritten, as I am not perfect or we wouldn't be here, but there shouldn't be anything blatant left on the articles in Misplaced Pages:Contributor copyright investigations/BOZ. I apologize fully for the amount of work it will ultimately take for you and future generations of CCI team members to get through all of these, but I figured I would save as much work as I could by doing at least my first best attempt at a cleanup of my own mess. If you find something that I should have removed on my own, please feel free to point it out to me and if you like I wouldn't mind some coaching to see where I went wrong and how I missed a spot. :) So thank you once again to @MER-C, @DanCherek, @Wizardman, @Sennecaster, @Moneytrees, @Pilaz, @Queen of Hearts, @GhostRiver, and @VernoWhitney, and anyone else who helps to take up this case in the future. Does this board deal with close paraphrasing?
I know of one editor who has created a few hundred articles which are mostly close paraphrasing of articles from a copyrighted website. They have received copyvio warnings from User:Diannaa and a close paraphrasing warning from me, but things don't seem to change. Do I bring this kind of situation to CCI, or raise it at ANI or elsewhere, or both? Fram (talk) 09:10, 27 June 2024 (UTC)
- CCI is capable of handling close paraphrasing, yes. — Red-tailed hawk (nest) 14:39, 27 June 2024 (UTC)
- Okay, thanks. I'll file a case here when I have a little more time. Fram (talk) 09:07, 28 June 2024 (UTC)
- @Fram if the user's behavior is not improving after the warnings, I suggest to open a thread at ANI as a way of preventing further damage. CCI tends to be very slow. Broc (talk) 07:49, 11 July 2024 (UTC)

Rewriting instructions
Just rewrote the clerk instructions for the page. Working on the default instructions next. All contributors with no history of copyright problems are welcome to contribute to clean up.
is put on the top of every page, but I've had numerous people ask if they can still help if they've had minor paraphrasing issues, and the general consensus is yes, they can. I think this should be changed to All contributors with no outstanding copyright problems
, with CCI cases and recent warnings/blocks counting as outstanding. IDK, I'm not up for bureaucracy, nor am I picky on what people want to count as outstanding. Sennecaster (Chat) 14:24, 3 September 2024 (UTC)
