I'm puzzled as to why you would argue for the inclusion of the word "bastard" in the Justin Welby article, when you argued even more vehemently for the removal of the term "out of wedlock" in the T. E. Lawrence article. It's important that we don't allow our own views and opinions - "Welby is, sadly, still the Archbishop of Canterbury" (my bold/italics, your words) - to impact on our editing here, and that the edits we make reflect a Neutral point of view.
