Notable speakers included Amir Taheri, Irshad Manji, and Warraq.
The summit was criticised by the Islamist group Council on American-Islamic Relations for a number of reasons, including the fact that none of the organisers are Muslims, a few among the speakers are practicing Muslms (most are "ex-Muslims").
