Lamarckism

"Baer was evolutionist, however critical towards Darwin's theory. Baer has established a major alternative to the darwinian paradigm in biology."

Er, yeah. Is this right in saying that he followed, Lamarckism, which is demonstrably nonsense, and isn't an alternative paradigm at all. Dunc| 15:23, 23 August 2005 (UTC)
