Again, please stop leaving messages on my user page. You know better than that. I don't make changes to the article. I don't revert you and I don't care. All I do is try to mediate and receive nothing but hostility, so I'll leave that up to someone else. Leebo /C 09:23, 10 June 2007 (UTC)

Sockpuppet

I suspect this anonymous user is a sockpuppet of 71.235.81.39, Given there similar addresses and similar contributions to wikipedia (both have expressed ant-Boston sentiments on User Pages, and not talk pages). I would ask that this user be subject to the same blocks as 71.235.81.39. BH (T|C) 18:22, 10 June 2007 (UTC)

An anonymous user can't really be a sockpuppet, and his IP address may not have changed by choice. I do agree that it's the same person, but I don't think we can assume there was some intent to the IP change. Leebo /C 19:31, 10 June 2007 (UTC)
Well he could simply be logging on from another computer, which would be intentional. The two in my house both have different addresses. BH (T|C) 20:26, 10 June 2007 (UTC)
And there's no reason to assume that the intentional use of another computer is to evade his past IP. Firstly, he didn't hide it. He came right over and left me a message. Secondly, let's say he doesn't own the computer he uses most often. Would it be so surprising for him to use another? Perhaps it's in need of repair. Maybe a family member needs to use software that is only on that computer. It really doesn't matter what the reason is, but there's no reason to assume it was a malicious attempt. Leebo /C 22:44, 10 June 2007 (UTC)
Keep in mind that I'm not opposed to imposing the same block, I was really just indicating that an anonymous user can't be a sockpuppet. Leebo /C 22:47, 10 June 2007 (UTC)
I used the term sockpuppet, because that seemed to be the best way to characterize the situation. BH (T|C) 22:49, 10 June 2007 (UTC)
Understood. Sorry for sounding pedantic :) Leebo /C 22:52, 10 June 2007 (UTC)

Sign Your Posts

Hi, there. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Misplaced Pages pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. On many keyboards, the tilde is entered by holding the Shift key, and pressing the key with the tilde pictured. You may also click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your name and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you! BH (T|C) 21:55, 12 June 2007 (UTC)

Final Warning

This is your final warning. If you make any more inflammatory, uncivil comments, such as This, you will be blocked from editing wikipedia. This block will also apply to 71.235.81.39, as there reasonable evidence to suggest that both IP addresses are being used by the same person. Both accounts have long histories of leaving offensive comments on New England's Talk Page, such as these 2 and 3.

DO NOT TAKE THIS WARNING LIGHTLY

User infoThis is the discussion page for an IP user, identified by the user's IP address. Many IP addresses change periodically, and are often shared by several users. If you are an IP user, you may create an account or log in to avoid future confusion with other IP users. Registering also hides your IP address.
