Anderlecht on Sunday 15th of May at Jan Breydelstadion. The 28,000 Brugge fans lost their voice as the Brussels club dominated the whole second half that began at 2-1. Unfortunately, the referee was totally in favor of the Flemish as they did not receive any card whereas Anderlecht received two of them. Furthermore, he whistled the end of the game after 1 minute 37 seconds when Anderlecht was attacking but the fourth referee had given 2 minutes (which was obviously too few). The game finished on a 2-2 draw which was sufficient for the Flemish side. Again, Anderlecht showed the best football on the pitch but loses the championship against the small league clubs as they won 4 on 6 points in their duel against Brugge. What a pity for Belgian football. Besides, R.A.E.C. Mons and K.V. Oostende are relegated.
