"Voyage of the Damned" is an episode of the British science fiction television series Doctor Who. It is scheduled to be broadcast on BBC One at Christmas, and is the third Christmas special of the revived Doctor Who series.

Plot

The RMS Titanic has crashed into the control room of the TARDIS. The Doctor is completely confused. Sylvester McCoy is set to make a guest appearance as he was in The Left-Handed Hummingbird.

Cast

Continuity

  • The Ninth Doctor has previously been seen in a photograph taken before the fateful voyage of the RMS Titanic, alongside a number of passengers, in "Rose". He later recalls himself "clinging to an iceberg" after a voyage in the 'unsinkable ship' in "The End of the World". The Seventh Doctor was onboard the Titanic in the Virgin New Adventures novel The Left-Handed Hummingbird by Kate Orman.
  • The Ninth Doctor had mentioned in the Episode "Rose" that the TARDIS was indestructable and nothing could break through, but in Last of the Time Lords, the Titanic had.
  • The tone in which The Doctor said his last what (after reading RMS Titanic on a life ring) may suggest that he is aware of the presence of his previous regenerations on board
