The Newport Bridge is number 62 on the list of largest suspension bridges. It spans the Narragansett Bay in Rhode Island, connecting Newport on Aquidneck Island and Jamestown on Conanicut Island.

The bridge was constructed in 1965 by Parsons, Brinckerhoff, Quade & Douglas firm, also famous for engineering the modern New York City Subway and the Cape Cod Canal.
