The eastern State Road 8 is 34 miles long, and it connects State Road 9 in Albion to the Ohio state line at Ohio State Route 18.

History

In the 1950s, SR 8 started in Lake Wawasee and continued east to the Ohio state line. That later formed another discontinuous section of SR 8, until that section was decommissioned in the 1970s.
