I've noticed that you put a bunch of Metroid-related articles on VfD recently and removed them from various categories in the process. Please don't do that; if the articles are deleted they'll be removed from those categories automatically, and if they're not then those categories will need to be restored anyway. And there may be people using the "related changes" link from Category:Metroid who would miss the fact that these articles were on VfD as a result. Bryan 06:09, 11 Apr 2005 (UTC)
Oh, and I notice that some of the VfD subpages you've been creating haven't been added to the VfD main page via the link on Misplaced Pages:Votes for deletion/Log/Today. You have to do that or they don't get voted on or noticed by admins when the vote's finished. Bryan 06:18, 11 Apr 2005 (UTC)
- I've added the ones I was able to find to Misplaced Pages:Votes for deletion/Log/2005 April 11, in case you're looking for them later. Bryan 06:40, 11 Apr 2005 (UTC)
Moving pages via cut and paste loses their history
I just noticed a couple of instances where you've moved pages to new locations by manually cutting and pasting the contents there and changing the old article to a redirect. This causes the article's history to be "lost", since it remains behind at the location now occupied by the redirect. Instead, please use the "move this page" link in the sidebar; this will automatically create a redirect and will move the article's history along with it. Bryan 06:24, 20 May 2005 (UTC)
Oh, I should also note that there's no need to disambiguate page titles (with for example the "(Stargate)" suffix) if there are no other articles that could fit there. So disambiguating Furling is fine because there's an aerodynamics term that could also fit under that title, but Bedrosian is unique and so can be located right there. Bryan 06:30, 20 May 2005 (UTC)
Template:CurrentGCOTW
When linking the "after" part of the template, link to the edit before the GCOTW template is removed. You were simply linking to the article, which isn't the point of the "after". Not a big deal, but I've seen you do it twice now so I thought I would point this out. K1Bond007 03:30, May 30, 2005 (UTC)
GCOTW tag
Whenever you nominate an article for the {{GCOTW}}, please do not forget to add the tag to that article's talk page. I notice that they are not added when you nominate an article in the past, and I went around and added them to the articles you just nominated. Thunderbrand 04:32, Jun 4, 2005 (UTC)
COTW Project
You voted for High Middle Ages, this week's Collaboration of the week. Please come and help it become a featured-standard article.
mechanised agriculture edits
I noticed you renamed my nomination on COTW, from mechanised agriculture to mechanized. On top of this you replaced the former with a redirect, removing the exisiting redirect at the latter and replacing it with the utterly useless "a type of agriculture". Please don't edit what I have written, and in this case the spelling is more appropriate for the reasons that every link to page uses it, and it is only an American thing to use the 'z', the majority of the English speaking word uses an 's'. This has been discussed and remedied in countless discussions before. Grunners 17:15, 17 Jun 2005 (UTC)
Misplaced Pages:Community Portal
I've reverted all but one of your edits to the Community Portal as they seem have caused huge amounts of white space on the page. I've left the "WikiProject Missing encyclopedic articles" on there. Evil Monkey∴Hello 23:22, Jun 21, 2005 (UTC)
