The Armenian Stock Exchange is the principal stock exchange of Armenia. It is known as Armex and it is located in Yerevan, the capital city. The stock exchange began operations in 2001. As of April 2007 the Chairman of the Armex Observers Board is Yermonya Vardevanyan.
