Big Boi has been featured on other rap artist's tracks without his Outkast parter, Andre 3000, in the past, most notably the Missy Elliott hit, "All N My Grill", and Trick Daddy's "In Da Wind". However, Outkast's 2003 double album, Speakerbox/The Love Below is Big Boi and Andre's first attempts at making an entire album solo. The double-disk set contains one full CD of solo songs by Big Boi and one entire CD of Andre solo. One song from each CD was released in September of 2003 as a single. Andre picked the bizarre-sounding "Hey Ya", which could be described as alternative in genre and has been supported by alternative rock radio, oddly enough, as well as pop radio. Big Boi's choice was "The Way You Move", a song which has blown up at urban radio, but has not yet taken off at pop.
