North Central Victoria is a rural region in the Australian state of Victoria.
The location of North Central Victoria is a little misleading, considering on some maps, the region encompasses the towns of Kyneton and Woodend, whereas the region encompassing the towns of Birchip, Charlton and Donald refers to itself as North Central.
The reason for the misleading nature of the term is the geographic relationship of one region, compared to the name of an Australian rules football league, and other sporting clubs, of the other. The actual location of the football league is split between the regions of the Wimmera, Mallee and Loddon Valley.
North Central Football League
