The Cabinet is a professional wrestling stable that is based on World Wrestling Entertainment's SmackDown! brand. It was created by John "Bradshaw" Layfield shortly after winning the WWE Championship at The Great American Bash 2004.
Current members
The group is organized like a presidential cabinet from which it probably derives its name. The trademark of the group is the "Longhorn" pose, where each member raises their arms at an angle and positions their hands flat resembling JBL's Texas longhorn symbol.

Titles
John "Bradshaw" Layfield won the WWE title at The Great American Bash 2004, and kept it until Judgment Day 2005 during this time he set up The Cabinet. This reign lasted nine months, and consequently JBL is the longest-reigning WWE champion of this decade. JBL defeated many WWE giants during his reign, including Eddie Guerrero, The Undertaker, Booker T and Kurt Angle. However, many of these wins resulted from cheating, and pure luck, making some marks feel that JBL is also one of the most controversial champions of the past decade.
Orlando Jordan won the WWE United States Championship, after picking up a controversial win over former champ John Cena March 3rd 2005. This is his first title reign of any kind since his debut.
