Navinchandra Ramgoolam (born July 13, 1947) is the current prime minister of the Republic of Mauritius since July 5 2005. He was also prime minister from 1995 to 2000.

In the 2005 general elections, his Mauritian Labour Party beat the Mauritian Militant Movement of then-prime minister Paul Bérenger.

He is the son of Sir Seewoosagur_Ramgoolam.

He trained as a doctor in Dublin, Ireland and achieved full registration with the General Medical Council of the United Kingdom. He later converted into Law by achieving a Master of Laws qualification before starting a political career.
