Jon Gaunt is a morning talk show presenter.

Gaunt has worked for many radio stations, including BBC Three Counties Radio, BBC WM, BBC London, and BBC Coventry & Warwickshire. He currently hosts a mid-morning current affairs show ("The Jon Gaunt Show") on talkSPORT. Gaunt was awarded three Sony Radio Academy Gold Awards in 2001.

Gaunt has dealt with controversy during his career; he has faced the UK Broadcasting Standards Commission five times; three of the complaints made against him were upheld.

Jon has also toured small venues across the UK in 2008 with a live show, talking about his life experiences, and then ending off with a question-and-answer session. One online review of a show suggested that there were planted audience members who put Gaunt over in a favourable light. The review also alleges that the audience turned on Jon when it was discovered he had not paid £10,000 back to a friend.

In 2009 he will be standing in the 2009 European Parliamentary elections. It is widely speculated he will be standing for the United Kingdom Independence Party.
