Arain is a Pakistani and Indian caste, agriculture related. In Pakistan the population of Arains is more then 10 million. Arain originally were one of the semitic races and it came to Indian subcontinent from east.
Arain live in large percentage in Lahore, Multan and Faisalabad. General Muhammad Zia-ul-Haq former president of Pakistan was Arain.
