re: Just curious

Audio aficionado, I guess. I'm more interested in music than in equipment, but being interested in one will always get you at least semi-involved in the other (kind of like hardware and software). SVI 20:00, 3 August 2005 (UTC)

re: Bose QuietComfort 2 in Silver--Worth it?

It's up to you, really. If you have the time, there's really no harm in trying out the new model.. but that's a pretty big "if" right there. Personally, I wouldn't bother, because you already have one pair of noise-cancelling headphones that work perfectly fine. However, it's your decision to make, not mine.

It's probably worth noting that all conceivable scenarios have trade-offs. If the headphone sounds better, you'll catch a bad case of upgradeitis; if it sounds worse or the same, you'll have wasted some of your time. If you don't want to have to deal with either of these trade-offs, you're probably better off ignoring it. SVI 17:05, 9 August 2005 (UTC)

Darth Vader images

I just viewed it on a 1024x768 and other than the crossfire between the two images about the Luke/Vader battle in ESB the pictures didn't seem too big. As for the captions, the pictures that don't have captions are intentionally so because they are either decorative or self-explanatory. For instance, the image of Vader kneeling is by "Appearance" because it gives a good visual idea of what Darth Vader looks like, while the image of him boarding the Tantive IV is largely decorative. (If the image of him kneeling was, on the other hand, in the ESB section the caption would work. But the purpose isn't to depict Vader kneeling before his master, it's to depict Vader—the kneeling pose is just incidental.) — Phil Welch 01:07, 14 August 2005 (UTC)

Debbie Gibson to Deborah Gibson move

Hi, I noticed you moved this article, which is fine, *provided* you also fix the re-directs. Otherwise, it should be moved back. See What links here --rob 06:22, 20 August 2005 (UTC)

Thanks for fixing all links. --rob 20:32, 21 August 2005 (UTC)
