Acharya S is an American critic of Christianity, and pen name of Dorothy Melne Murdock. She operates and owns a website truthbeknown.com. On that site She CLaims to be an archaeologist, historian, mythologist, religious scholar and linguist. As academic qualification she holds a degree in Classics, Greek Civilization from Franklin and Marshall College. She also CLaims that she is a member of the American School of Classical Studies at Athens, Greece, However, they have no record of her as n actual member. She did work at one expedition hwoever in Collage.

In her works, Acharya contends that Jesus is a fictional person and a pagan myth plagiarized by the Early Christian Church, as opposed to an actual person. The Christ Conspiracy: The Greatest Story Ever Sold is an expanded version of her website, notabely the article "The Origins of Christianity and the Quest for the Historical Jesus Christ." The followup book Suns of God: Krishna, Buddha and Christ Unveiled provides backup material and illustrations. she writes primarily on the lives of Krishna and Buddha, and how they parallel Jesus Christ.

Critics have poitne dout that her research is queasitonable.Forinstance, her major soruces, such as BArbara Wlaker, and Kersey GRaves, have both been shown to be suspect, with flawed methodology and often erroneosu claism unsubstantated form elsewhere.
Most of Acharya S's books are base don "The worlds 16 Crucified Saviours" by Kersye GRaves. A work knwon for its flaws and errors.

Likewise, the extensive Parrallels between Jesus CHrist and the others she contrast shim too are often taken fromGraves, even whereno acutla evidence exists in primary or most secondary souces.

FOr example, Krishna and Buddha are both claimed ot have been born on December 25th. This is not known form any Literatrue form the Hindu or Buddhist faoith, and is seen as an inventionof Graves, later transmitted through Murdock.

Other exampls of fraudulent claims are her insistance of a single unified world religious outlook based o "Astro-theology", which in turn isbase don strology, a supposeition that seems unique to Acharya, and is not knownform reputable spruces.

Or her claim that Krishna and Bussha and Dyonisus where all Crucified. This is unknown by modernworhsippers or ancient Literature aboutthse figures.

Indeed, the vast majorityof her claims can be refuted by a cursory examinaiton fothe Myths, legends, and religosu texts of the variosu gods andMagi and sages she cotnrasts Jesus to.
