Japanese actress, model and TV presenter. 山田優(やまだ ゆう) Born July 5th 1984 in Okinawa. Graduated from Okinawa Actor's School. Height 169 cm.

While working as a model for the Japanese fashion magazine CanCam under an exclusive contract, she also worked as a singer in the group "Y's Factory". After the group broke up, she has mostly worked as a TV personality and actress.

She currently is the co-presenter of Formula One Grand Prix Racing in Japan. Her mother was the first "Miss Okinawa".

Yamada also appears in advertising for "yōguruto" (yoghurt) and mobile phones.
