The Hasbani flows from the Wazzani source at the foot of Mount Hermon in Lebanon, and merges with the Dan River and Banias River at a point in northern Israel, to become the Jordan River. It derives most of its discharge from two springs, the Wazzani and the Haqzbieh. The springs' combined discharge averages 138 million m³ per year.
